To create balance requires attention to details some don’t think about; food, music, ambience, hospitality. Creating a balanced service creates an enjoyable service. I want your dinner to be enjoyable from beginning to end.
Beautiful plating is done out of respect for the dish; to showcase the quality of the ingredients and the time it took to make it delicious. Plating food is an artful process. I consider factors such as color, texture, height, and symmetry to enhance the dish’s aesthetics while also being careful not to sacrifice taste. Every component on a dish should be necessary elements working together to create the desired overall taste.
